Dusty boi
Oof. This old girl still scratches my itch every time I drive it. She’s been showing her age the la st couple of years, but h opefully having it live in the garage is buying me a little time .
I’d say I’ve gotten well beyond my money’s worth on this. Maybe I can do a partial restoration someday if it lasts a few more years

I felt that way about the LS last time I drove it... Having new cars has really spoiled me but I can’t bring myself to move on from the Lexus. Partial restoration is definitely going to be the move when I’m on superior ground. Wife is probably getting a Macan firs though so that’ s a couple years out.

I find the more I drive the old truck the better it runs.

A tach, how posh.
I feel similar about the fintail, there’s a satisfaction in driving it, even with its (charming of course) quirks.

I know that feel. I always love getting back in my ancient Toyota after a vacation or trip.

My car is only an ‘03 but I always love getting back behind the wheel after a hiatus. Although I’m looking forward to driving a Jimny next week!

My ‘93 F150 has been well worth the money too. Almost 40k miles in 4 years for all of $2600 (okay plus another $2k or so in repairs). The way I look at it is even with the money I’ve spent fixing it that’s still less than $100/month, way less than any loan payment. Also, once it’s retired from daily duty I ’d love to re- body it since the frame is still in great shape even though the body is pretty rough.
